FAQ’s

Right Angle Performance offers the expertise, experience and knowledge to help paddlers develop and excel in a challenging and fun environment. Below are the most frequently asked questions.

+ Can RAP come to my club and give a private clinic?

Yes! We can come to your club and coach outrigger, dragon boat or kayak/surfski paddling. Send us a message through our contact page and let us know what you are looking for and what dates suit you. We suggest you plan three to four months early as our weekends do fill up, especially in the spring. If your time-frame is closer than this, still check in and we may be available.

+ What is the best way to keep up-to-date on what RAP is offering?

This website will be updated regularly but other ways are our Facebook page, Right Angle Performance, and sign up for our newsletter to get notifications of new events.

+ I would like to be a better paddler. What resources do you offer that will help me?

We offer various paddling workshops, clinics and camps for outrigger and dragon boat. Sign up for our newsletter to get notifications of new events.

+ I want to be a better coach. What resources do you offer that will help me?

We offer various coaching courses throughout the year. In addition, attending a paddling clinic or camps for outrigger or dragon boat will increase your knowledge and broaden your coaching skill-set. You will find our current offerings on the Clinics and Courses page. Sign up for our newsletter on the sidebar to get notifications of new events.

+ When are your next courses?

Our courses are published on this website. If you are looking for a kind of clinic or course which does not show as currently available, please email us and we can let you know future plans or you may be the impetus for us to create the event you are looking for! Sign up for our newsletter to get notifications of new events.

+ I am registered for a course and I can no longer attend. Can I send a friend instead?

Certainly! Please put us in touch with your replacement via email at least 2 days ahead of the event. This applies to courses and clinics, but not to camps.

+ If I register for an event and find I can no longer attend, what is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation policies are specific to each event and provided to you in the registration system prior to requesting payment. Please contact us when you know you can’t come and we will refund your fees according to the schedule for the event. In some cases, your best approach if you cannot come may be to find a replacement to come in your place.

+ What is RAP Wheelhouse?

RAP Wheelhouse is our online school where you can find training programs and, soon, courses. Our online courses were so popular during the pandemic that we decided to start a school where content will be available for coaches and paddlers. If you have ideas for courses or would like us to offer your course on our platform, please contact us. https://learn.rapwheelhouse.com
