Dragon Boat Canada Level 2 Competitive Coaching Course: January 20-21

This two day course is intended for anyone coaching competitive crews training twice a week or more on and off the water, crews competing at provincial events, the National Championships and perhaps with a view to the Club Crew World Championships. After this course, coaches will have the tools to develop all aspects of year-round training programs including, advanced technical instruction, principles of training, mental preparation, testing and selection, and much much more.

PREREQUISITES: Coaching Community Dragon Boat Certified (includes , small craft operators license, DBC course and successful evaluation of assignment).

Richmond Oval Technical Clinics for Dragon Boat and Outrigger: January 27 and 28

Come and work on paddling technique in a warm indoor environment with Kamini and other coaches.  The coaches will focus on technical concepts using hand-on help, drills and demonstrations.

FCRCC Dragon Boat Clinic:  Stay tuned for 2018 dates

Hosted by FCRCC Premier Dragon Boat Program

In this unique paddling opportunity, participants paddle with and are coached by FCRCC Premier Dragon Boat Program athletes.   FCRCC Premier paddlers and coaches are some of the best in the World with many having attended several World Championships.

The clinic will be a 2 hour session learning new paddling techniques through drills and imitation.

The session will be led by FCRCC Premier Coach Kamini Jain, 42-time World medalist dragon boat coach and 2-time kayak Olympian.
